The first new Zoya collection I have for review for today is the Stunning Set set. This is a set of bright and cheerful cream formula lacquers. So as most of you are probably aware, Zoya is having their Earth Day Nail Polish Exchange until the 26th of this month, and the nail colors in this set are included in the exchange.
First up is Zoya Thandie
Thandie is an orange coral cream. I had a little streaking with application, but the coverage was opaque after three coats..
Second is Zoya Micky
Zoya Micky is another bright cream. It is a corally pink. I had no issues with application,it covered in three coats.
And this is Rocky, a serene blue cream that covered very easily in three coats. I liked this one so much I wore it as a full mani for several days.
Here is Yana, described as a geranium pink cream. This one covered easily in three coats also.
And Josie. I love the name. It reminds me of "Josie and the Pussycats." This is supposed to be a grass green cream, however it didn't quite photograph like that for me. Again, this one covered very easily in three coats.
Finally there is Darcy. A bright and sunny yellow cream. I had so much trouble with application with this one. I must have swatched it two or three times before I realized it might need the help of some thinner.
The formula was very thick and goopy,so yes, after I applied a couple drops of thinner,it became much easier to work with. It was still streaky though, and did cover in three coats.I may have used four for this photo. Not a very flattering color on me.It is a bright and cheerful shade of yellow though. Something I would probably return to use for nail art.
In conclusion, the Stunning shades are very bright and very well pigmented.
My favorites in this group are Rocky,Yana, and Micky. I do think the others are pretty too, I just find myself drawn more to the pinks and blue in this set.
Which shades do you like?
